Moulton College Information
For some time the Northants Schools Basketball Association was aware that many boys and girls having achieved their GCSE’s, were left with the dilemma of how to continue to play basketball. Some stayed on at school to take ‘A’ Levels although they were not suited to them, others left school and went to college only to find the college didn’t run a basketball team. The Northants BBA was also aware that an increasing number of players were anxious to spend more time practicing their basketball and improving their personal skills.
To address this problem the Northants Schools BBA, in conjunction with Moulton College set up the Moulton College Centre for Basketball. The basic aim of the Centre was to combine a formal education with an opportunity to develop basketball skills. The Centre is now accepted as one of the best Academies in the country.
