“Thunder” Under 13 Mixed Team win inaugural Aspire Challenge Tournament
Northants Basketball Club's “Thunder” Under 13 Mixed team are winners of the inaugural Aspire Challenge Tournament.
The team represented Northants Basketball at the new Aspire competition and produced an excellent performance to take the tournament title.

A big ‘Thank you’ to over forty volunteers
Northants Basketball Club would like to express its sincere gratitude to the large number of volunteers whose commitment and enthusiasm continue to make the club such a success.
This season, the club is delighted to be able to run 17 competitive teams plus an extensive community programme, guided by 19 Coaches and Assistant Coaches, 15 Young Leaders, and 7 parent Team Managers.
This dedicated volunteer workforce is supported by Karen Goodrich, the club’s part-time professional Administrator, whose work helps ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the club.
Team practices have already started, with players and staff eagerly preparing for the new season ahead. Competitive fixtures are due to commence in mid-September.
Club to participate in inaugural “Aspire” Challenge Cup
Northants Basketball Club has entered a mixed team in the inaugural Central “Aspire” Challenge Cup. The tournament forms part of the Talent Identification Programme, with the Northants “Thunder” team facing opponents from Bristol, the West Midlands and Warwickshire.
